WHAT WE DO
01.
We Find & Fund
We identify families that are in need through community mapping teams, we ensure that our beneficiaries are carefully identified, their potential evaluated where there is need for funding, COCAWEU funds.
02.
Health & Sanitation
Since poor hygiene is the primary cause of disease outbreaks in communities, as COCAWEU, we have embarked on financing sanitation facilities such as ventilated improved pit latrines to control disease outbreaks that are linked to poor sanitation.
03.
We Mobilize
We mobilize resources by soliciting contributions towards the COCAWEU’s Children funds inform of donations, subscriptions or otherwise through personal or written appeals, public meetings and other means.
04.
We Educate
We provide education to the vulnerable poor children through our education and scholarship programs within our catchment area. We provide education primary education, secondary, tertiary as well as university. Our education programs help in reducing the illiteracy level of people in the community as well as obtaining job qualification.
05.
Awareness & Sensitization
COCAWEU extends child protection awareness and sensitization to the communities.
06.
We Consult
We consult with other stakeholders, NGOs in the same course and the Government on how to best deal with the issues that are linked to child protection, protection and support for the vulnerable community as well as health and sanitation.
